Inventory Coordinator

Our Client is looking for an Inventory Coordinator, on a permanent staff basis, location in Aberdeen.

Maintains appropriate and safe storage of Operated UK Assets owned equipment / tools and ensures timely replenishment through purchase / fabrication / repairs by contracted vendors. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations. Ensure company meets its customs and inventory obligations with HMRC

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Development

  • Be aware of storage requirements, both current and projected, both long and short term.
  • OCTG and material movements, deliveries, make ups and dispatches.
  • Focal point for the Creation of Materials Master Items in accordance with company guidelines

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Support SAP MRP Module
  • Ensure safekeeping and stock levels for the Operations, Drilling & Project are maintained
  • Ensure all Operations, Drilling & Project materials are receipted and labelled as per relevant paperwork or Operated UK Assets PO
  • Ensure all stock materials have full traceability and are accompanied by all associated certification and documentation.
  • Participation in Materials Audits if required
  • Working in conjunction with Operational teams to ensure appropriate materials maintenance while in storage, including materials stored in third party facilities.
  • Produce stock check programme
  • Focal point for all Disposals in accordance with Company Procedure
  • Focal point for expedient response for all Platform returns assigned to Warehouse.
  • In conjunction with Maintenance Group create Min/Max Reorder levels for identified critical items within SAP
  • Creating Material Masters in SAP as and when required
  • Development of monthly material report advising of activity levels concerning materials management issues

Customs

  • Ensure Customs register of Import receipts is maintained as per statute requirements accurate management of materials’ customs status while in storage and when transported offshore.

Inspections

  • Identify materials for quarantine/QA
  • Ensure all equipment has been cleared and is fit for movement.

Systems & Procedures

  • SAP

Additional

  • Provide holiday cover for Logistics Coordinator Function
  • Primary focal point for customs and monthly HMRC reports for Operations
  • Comply with Procedures and Processes
  • Engagement with UK Business and wider Supply chain
  • Budget control/Contract Management
  • Focal point for third party Warehouse contractor

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • Good communications, and inter-personal skills
  • Self-motivating, able to work unsupervised in a 24/7 operational environment
  • Dangerous Goods awareness
  • Awareness of Production / Drilling equipment/tools and activities
